Banshee Sylvanas has freed the Forsaken group in the humanoids and Elven Undead from the control of the Lich King. The third Varimathras spared his life and exchanged their service instead of life to her. Sylvanans pronounced herself as the Queen by naming her newly formed force as Forsaken. The undead then formed their capital in the crypt’s beneath the Lordaeron’s capital city. Their profound extensive monarchy is now called Undercity.
The Forsaken have made allies with the Horde, although both sides are wary of each other, they have a common enemy in the scourge. The Undead leader Sylvanas Windrunner is symbolized as the Icon of Torment, which is the crest of Forsaken. The symbols of the Forsaken Undead include the shattered face, the worn arrows, the tears and the raven on the shields. The worn breaking chains in the Horde crest are the representation to Undead.
