Enchanting
Enchanting is a stand alone profession. It does not require another profession to level. It can be the hardest, most expensive craft to level. The best way to level it is to disenchant items that will not sell well. Enchants for low level items usually will cost more than you can get by selling them. The best way I have found to make money by enchanting is to disenchant items and sell the materials. I also suggest either tailoring or mining as a second profession. Mining can make a lot of money, and tailoring can give you items to disenchant cheap.
Enchanting is great for a Warlock or Mage. I also suggest getting your character to a high level with a bit of gold on hand before taking this profession.
If you choose to level Enchanting you will need a runed rod. You can get the rod from any Blacksmith, or the Auction house then Enchant it to make it runed.
Jewelcrafting
With the profession of Jewelcrafting, you can make rings necklaces, and jewelry items to boost your stats and abilities. This profession is best used with Mining. You will need the metals for making wires and the jewels for setting in your jewelry. I have seen many people lose a lot of money with Jewelcrafting, but it can be profitable.
Using mining and getting your own ores you can prospect for jewels. Cutting jewels for high-level socketed items is one of the main staples of a high-level jewelcrafter.
Inscriptioning
Inscriptioning is the newest job added to World of Warcraft. It was introduced with the Wrath of the Litch King expansion. With Inscriptioning, you can create vellums, glyphs and scrolls. Glyphs are the most common.
There are two types of glyphs Major Glyph and MinorGlyph. Each Glyph will target specific class abilities they are used to boost.
Herbalism is the best profession to level with Inscriptioning. You will use the herbs with milling to make pigments for your inks. Parchments of different qualities will be required, but they can be purchased from a vendor near the trainer in all the major cities.
Inscription is great for Priests. The scrolls you create will help boost a weak character and you can sell the glyphs for some easy money.
