The Space Wolves of Warhammer 40,000
A large number of people, particularly teenage boys and young professionals, are addicted to computer games. Most of these computer gamers are hooked on Warhammer 40000. However, not all of them have the same expectations in such game. It has something to do with important choices and decisions made or to be made by the player. Choosing the right army and models plays a significant role for the success of a player in this game.
Which army to select? Which models are needed most—Space Marines or Space Wolves? These are the two guide questions that would help a player succeed in Warhammer 40000.
A major part of Warhammer 40000, is a close battle. Therefore, the type of armies that a player has is significant. Some armies are better in long-range fights, while others perform best at close combats. Most people would choose to purchase Space Marines over Space Wolves. But little did they know that the opposite decision is actually the best one. Space Wolves have more advantages than other Space Marines. Space Wolves, specifically, are experts at close or hand-to-hand combats. Their weapons make them very efficient and proficient in close combats. Having been used to the type of climate in their planet of origin, the Space Wolves have fully mastered their survival skills, making them strong enough to face their enemies at a very close range. With their ability to fight best at close combats, the Space Wolves can easily penetrate their enemies’ flanks, thus, wipe them out effortlessly.
Moreover, Space Wolves are sharp shooters. Their heavy weapon troops, the Long Fangs, are some of the best troops in Warhammer 4000 that specialize on long-range shots. They can fire even at two different targets. Favorably, the ability of the Space Wolves to use the Long Fangs would cost the player less points, which is basically useful and wise. The wolf leaders, on the other hand, may be armed in plenty of ways to fight the enemies, making them largely versatile and productive. In fact, wolf leaders can wipe out vehicles, kill great monsters, and fight a great number of infantry in just one sitting.
In conclusion, choosing Space Wolves over the Space Marines in Warhammer 40000 is more advantageous than the other way around. They are not only skillful at close combats; they can also destro their many enemies using heavy weapons.
