In Magic the Gathering, can you use old prints of the same card reprinted that are legal in standard play?

For example, if I have Loxodon Warhammer from Mirrodin which is reprinted exactly the same in 10th edition, can I use my Mirrodin copy of it in my deck to play at FNM or do I have to buy a copy with the X 10th edition symbol on it?

You can use old copies of the card, regardless. Does not matter if it has the same artwork or the same text. Keep in mind though that older vesions may have wording that has been errata’d, so make sure you know the rules for that card.
