Warhammer Dwarf Lord
warhammer types?
i played warhmmer for quite a bit of time
i started off as the heralds of the free in lord of the rings some yrs back. My brother had heralds of darkness.
We eventually went off that
and 2 years ago i started collecting warhammer (i have big lizard man army, small breton army for peeps to fight me with at home and have on regament of dwarf thunders.)
i was going to start a dwarf army but i lost intrest in it again.
Now im yet again intrested in warhammer shall i start building a dwarf army of go back to lotr or shall i give 40k a try? (if so what army)
I will have to agree with the other person that answered your question. Your army decision is truly your own and one that other people cannot make for you. You really need to ask yourself how you like to play the game. Do you like fast troops that are fragile, slow troops that are hearty or a mix of the both. Do you like cannons and swords or lascannons and aliens. Once you figure this out, you will be well on your way. GW has released a starter set of sorts for each of their main lines. The Fantasy set has Dwarfs and Goblins, 40K, Space Marines and Tyranids, LOTR, Fellowship and Goblins. Each set has a lot of minis, great scenery and a quick start booklet. The best part of each of these is the small rulebook that is included. It has all the same information as its larger counterpart, but very easy to include in your army box. Hope this was helpful.
