Does the death company unit from the new Blood angels codex count as a kill point.
It certainly does!
All units confer a kill point, and the Death Company is a unit. Hence, it confers a kill point. If it comes with a Rhino, Land Raider, Razorback or Drop Pod, it confers two kill points.
It is worth emphasizing, though, that if you take Lemartes, he doesn’t confer an additional kill point because he’s a unit upgrade, not an independent character.
