Warhammer 40K Tabletop Eldar Advice?

So you have roughly 500 points to spend on an Eldar army. THe models available to you are 20 Guardians with support platforms, 10 Dire Avengers, 1 Falcon Grav Tank, 1 War Walker, 1 Autarch on Jetbike, 1 Farseer on foot, and 3 Warlocks. What would you do?

Not having my codex handy, I can’t be exact. However, at 500 points, Eldar struggle to put together a legal army! I’d recommend the Farseer over the Autarch as your HQ choice. The Dire Avengers must be one of the Troops choices. I’d recommend taking just one squad of ten Guardians (plus support platform) as the second Troops choice. This should account for about 300-400 points, IIRC. I’d suggest filling the remainder with the War Walker and a couple of Warlocks – one to go with each Troops unit for those vital Guide and Fortune powers).

Keep the Fareer firmly in cover and set him to casting Doom on one enemy unit at a time.

At 500 points, the old axiom of concentrating all your firepower on one enemy unit at a time really comes into play because the battlefield is so open. So a flank attack by massed Troops (using Fleet to gain that vital extra ground) led by the Dire Avengers should be able to take on one enemy unit at a time and roll up the opponent’s battle-line.
