1) What do u think is it right move?
2) How can minimize the Business’s cost in beginning stage?
3) Shall I go with partnership with some one? or should I start alone ? (my one of friend is ready but he is non-software field so I only workout all business strategy and need to get projects for company)

Please tell your view Friends…

look buddy, since the bad times of economy are over, at least for india, i think you can go ahead with your plans so that you can get the benefits of early entrant, but be sure that the business plan is well defined and know the scope of business, is it good enough to explore and can earn you enough money, at least no gain no loss kind of money…….my personal experience is, try to invest your own money as much as possible, don’t get struck in the debts since you sound to be not sure about your plans, take the help of the friend as a capital source but never guarantee him fixed of sure returns, just ask him to trust your potential and live up to it, and the most important thing is don’t be doubtful about your plans, if you are so doubtful, then don’t get into business, just be happy with whatever job you have………trust in god, give your best and do good.

Creating Home Owner & Condo Association Documents

Creating Home Owner & Condo Association Documents

$10.55

Author Dr. David I. Goldenberg takes an empowering view of the rules governing both Home Owner Associations (HOAs) and condominiums. Problems arise when bad or obsolete rules are enforced or good rules are either ignored or ineptly enforced. Owners and board members alike must learn the rules and proper ways to modify outdated rules. It’s a matter of record that the traditional approaches [ignore the problem, move, appeal to a hobbled regulatory agency, sue or recall the board and/or seek corrective legislation] rarely help homeowners. These strategies fail because they deal slowly and ineptly with incidents experienced by individual families. His expertise led Dr. Goldenberg to a radically new way to resolve the increasingly numerous and intense problems arising from living in an existing HOA or Condo and to prevent their occurrence in a new formed community of either sort. Dr. Goldenberg specializes in developing practical solutions to top management problems in business economics, corporate strategy and governance. His work is original and effective. It ranges from high theory in creating new ways to handle problems to low cunning in implementing his recommendations.Moving into a Homeowners Association [HOA] and later a Condo exposed Dr. Goldenberg to the legalistic methods of governing HOAs and Condos. He found them appallingly irrational, ineffective and inefficient. Unless, of course, the real aim was to promote full-employment among attorneys, politicians, and bureaucrats. This book shows homeowners how to correct the underlying causes of their problems – whether a matter of law, politics, or perverse individuals – and thus put an end to the rising number ofunnecessary, irritating and costly incidents.A Condo Commandos 101 Reality Book.

Inside the House of Money: Top Hedge Fund Traders on Profiting in a Global Market

$29.95

In today’s difficult investment environment, where geopolitical and social instability compound an already challenging search for higher returns, hedge funds have outperformed. As a result, assets under management have exploded and top investment talent has migrated over to hedge funds. Amidst the growth and evolution of the business, one strategy—global macro—has remained true to its original mandate of absolute return investing, which seeks outsized returns from investments anywhere in the world, in any asset class, and in any instrument.Although successful money managers often have a reputation for being reluctant to discuss their market views and trading strategies, Inside the House of Money opens the door to the typically opaque world of hedge funds—particularly global macro investing—and offers a rare glimpse into a high-intensity environment where enormous stakes are a part of everyday life. As cofounder and partner of Drobny Global Advisors—an international macroeconomic research and advisory firm—author Steven Drobny has access to a broad selection of today’s top global macro hedge fund managers. Through detailed interviews with more than a dozen of these individuals, Drobny provides you with an inside look at how these money managers view world markets and offers subtle insights into how they make money.First, you will receive an introduction to global macro from a professional investor’s perspective. You will also learn how future events, such as increased competition and specialization, are pushing today’s global macro manager into the realm of global micro investing. With this information in hand, you’ll go Inside the House of Money through a collection of in-depth interviews with a variety of money managers, each with a unique perspective and approach to global markets, including:The Family Office Manager: Jim Leitner

Performance Drivers: A Practical Guide to Using the Balanced Scorecard

Performance Drivers: A Practical Guide to Using the Balanced Scorecard

$45

A Practical Guide to Using the Balanced Scorecard performance drivers Nils-Goran Olve, Jan Roy and Magnus Wetter Since the groundbreaking work of Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton, the concept of the Balanced Scorecard has achieved increasing popularity in the business world. Previously, many organizations had built their business objectives around financial targets and goals that bore little relation to a long-term strategic vision. Typically, this leaves a gap between the development of a company’s strategy and its implementation. The business scorecard, however, provides a more ‘balanced view’ by looking at not just-financial concerns, but also customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. But it is not just a system of performance measurement – by focusing on future potential success it can be used as a dynamic management system that reinforces, implements and drives corporate strategy forward. In this book, the authors draw on their extensive experience with scorecard projects to provide a step-by-step method for introducing the Balanced Scorecard into an organization. This is done through the use of some of the most important practical examples in existence, with case studies from ABB, Coca Cola, Electrolux, British Telecom, Nat West, Skandia and Volvo. The desired strategic control system using scorecards that is presented focuses on creating and communicating a total comprehensive picture to all members of the organization from the top down, a long-term view of what the company’s strategic objectives really are, how to make use of knowledge gained through experience and the required flexibility of such a system to cope with the fast-changing businessenvironment. This book will provide senior and operational managers, consultants and business academics with a comprehensive view of emerging Balanced Scorecard practice supported by both business advice and a theoretical foundation. Reflections on the relations between the Balanced Scorecar

You have what it takes to be a CIO. . . Do you have a strategy for getting there? “Gregory Smith has written the definitive work on how to achieve leadership success in IT. This well-written and carefully researched book is a must-read for any IT professional with aspirations toward the top IT spot. Years from now, seasoned IT leaders will be crediting Smith’s book with playing a role in their success.”—Martha Heller, Managing Director, IT Leadership Practice, Z Resource Group, and cofounder, CIO Executive Council “Wow! Put all the tips, advice, and strategies in this book to use now. The road to the top is rarely straight—follow Gregory’s advice and the path will reveal itself to you!”—John R. Sullivan, CIO, AARP “While most professions have a distinct road map to the top, there is no standard career path to becoming a CIO. Smith addresses this unique challenge and provides aspiring CIOs with encouragement, advice, and essential skills based on years of his own and other CIOs’ cumulative experience—an important effort for the profession that Smith’s fellow members in the CIO Executive Council embrace and applaud.”—Mark Hall, General Manager of the CIO Executive Council “Teaching students what a CIO really does has been tough. We’ve had to choose between anecdotal treatments based on trade press articles and integrated academic frameworks that offer little in the way of lived experiences. Greg’s book fixes that. By organizing interviews with leading technology executives, trade press reports, and his own experiences as a CIO, he provides an organized and comprehensive view of the job and its important role in modern organizations.”—Fred Collopy, PHD, Professor and Chair of Information Systems and Professor of Cognitive Science, Case Western Reserve University

 Strategic Bankruptcy

Strategic Bankruptcy

$28.44

In 1982 Johns-Manville, a major asbestos manufacturer, declares itself insolvent to avoid paying claims resulting from exposure to its products. A year later, Continental Airlines, one of the top ten carriers in the United States, claims a deficit when the union resists plans to cut labor costs. Later still, oil powerhouse Texaco cries broke rather than pay damages resulting from a courtroom defeat by archrival Pennzoil. Bankruptcy, once a term that sent shudders up a manager’s spine, is now becoming a potent weapon in the corporate arsenal. In his timely and challenging study, Kevin Delaney explores this profound change in our legal landscape, where corporations with billions of dollars in assets use bankruptcy to achieve specific political and organizational objectives. As a consequence, bankruptcy court is rapidly becoming an arena in which crucial social issues are resolved: How and when will people dying of asbestos poisoning be compensated? Can companies unilaterally break legally negotiated labor contracts? What are the ethical and legal rules of the corporate takeover game? In probing the Chapter 11 bankruptcies of Johns-Manville, Frank Lorenzo’s Continental Airlines, and Texaco, Delaney shows that more and more, an array of powerful actors–corporations, commercial creditors, auditors, bond rating agencies and investment bankers–are coming to view bankruptcy as a legitimate business strategy. In each situation, the choice of bankruptcy by these corporate giants was directly influenced by the surrounding business community. In the case of Johns-Manville, carrying appropriate insurance did not prevent its twenty insurance companies from refusing to pay claims. Thanks to shrewdplanning and cooperation from Continental’s creditors, not only was the airline able to continue flying in the first week of Chapter 11, but it could also offer the lowest cross-country fare in the market. Texaco’s banks nudged their client toward bankruptcy as a way to squeeze it into

Strategic Risk Taking: A Framework for Risk Management

Strategic Risk Taking: A Framework for Risk Management

$54.99

Front FlapIn business and investing, risk has traditionally been viewed negatively: investors and companies can lose money due to risk and therefore we typically penalize companies for taking risks. That’s why most books on risk management focus strictly on hedging or mitigating risk. But the enterprise’s relationship with risk should be far more nuanced. Great companies become great because they seek out and exploit intelligent risks, not because they avoid all risk. Strategic Risk Taking: A Framework for Risk Management is the first book to take this broader view, encompassing both risk hedging at one end of the spectrum and strategic risk taking on the other.World-renowned financial pioneer Aswath Damodaran—one of BusinessWeek’s top 12 business school professors—is singularly well positioned to take this strategic view. Here, Damodaran helps you separate good risk (opportunities) from bad risk (threats), showing how to utilize the former while protecting yourself against the latter. He introduces powerful financial tools for evaluating risk, and demonstrates how to draw on other disciplines to make these tools even more effective.Simply put, Damodaran has written the first book that helps you use risk to increase firm value, drive higher growth and returns, and create real competitive advantage.• Risk: the history and the psychologyThe non-financial realities you must understand to successfully manage risk • Risk assessment: from the basics to the cutting edgeRisk Adjusted Value, probabilistic approaches, Value at Risk, and more• Utilizing the power of real optionsExtending option pricing models to reflect the potential upside of risk exposure• Risk management: the big pictureIntegrating traditional finance with corporate strategy—and using risk strategicallyBack FlapAbout the AuthorAswath Damodaran, Professor of Finance at NYU’s
