Star Trek XI… WTF!!!?
I have recently seen the pictures for Star Trek XI and I must say… WTF! I have alot of questions about the movie and how canon it is. To start off why the hell are ALL the characters including the young gun Chekov at the academy at the same time. Maybe one or two possibly attended the academy together, but the majority would have gone at different times. I must also question the bridge and the ship that looks TMP era. The bridge of the USS Kelvin looks like something from a different sci-fi show entirely, its clean to the max, its all very rounded and it is like a bathroom because it is all white, and it looks way, way more delveloped beyond the Enterprise E bridge even. I really must say that JJ Abrams may be sinking his ship before it has sailed…
I guess what I am trying to say is “Why is all this going on”
I’m a bit skeptical myself about this film, especially the guy who’s playing Kirk. From what I have seen, the crew doesn’t even seem up to the challenge of facing the Romulan bad guys. They basically look like a group of school children playing ‘Battleship’.
