Heros Question?

So where is the Star Trek connection to the production of this show? Sulu is Hero’s dad, Lt. Ohoora is the kids aunt, the license plate had the Enterprise registration number on it.

I think (and it is only my opinion) that the connection is simply a ‘gimmick’ of sorts. Bringing those faces and making those connections is a way of generating interest. Why not tie a new show to an old one, especially one which has created/kept such strong interest since the late 60′s? Personally, I think it’s a great marketing tool..and at this point, we never know where the writer’s will take such a thing. Makes you go..”I wonder if…” doesn’t it?
