Anybody else here, not really care if there is a massive nuclear war that exterminates humanity?
…Just so long as, it happens after YOU’RE dead and gone?
I myself wouldn’t really care if I knew humanity would commit
collective nuclear suicide in, say, the year 2060. (I’ll be long
gone by then!)
In fact, if I was able to PREVENT this from happening by having foreknowledge (say, here in the year 2008 I knew
that the 2060 nuclear war was going to happen, but I
could stop it by, say, writing a certain letter to a certain
politician, thus altering the sequence of history so to
speak) – well, I think I might just NOT do the preventative
deed.
After all, the future’s going to be nothing but war after war,
followed by an terminal decline which will see humanity back in the Stone Age ultimately. Sorry, Star Trek fans! (Google “Olduvai Theory. and read all about it…)
Plus, people generally suck anyway.
