Re mastered Star Trek TOS available on dvd?
I’ve been enjoying the remastered episodes of Star Trek the original series on television. The original version of the Enterprise looks fabulous in CGI. Have all the original episodes been redone in this manner? And are they available on disk?
Yes, they are available in DVD sets. They are quite pricey. They cost more than the not-remastered, original DVD season releases (which were pricey themselves). I saw one season of the “remastered” for $99.99 at “Best Buy”. Yes..one season.
I own all 3 original season releases, which of course look great in their own right. I love how the remastered versions look and the augmented special effects, but I’d have to sell off my original sets to help offset the price before I’d bite that bullet again!
