The Wii Chipping Tutorial
The first generation of modchips for the Nintendo Wii were very tricky and difficult to install. Many people struggled with Wii Chipping because of the precise and delicate soldering that was required to install a chip properly without damaging the console.
Since then, modchips have become available that are less tricky to install, but it doesnt change the fact they still require soldering into place and taking your console apart. However a new piece of Wii Chipping software has been developed which makes Wii Chipping an automated process that can be done by anyone.
Wii Chipping How To
It is even easier to mod your Wii with the HomeBreWare soft mod as you dont even have to touch your console, never mind pay for expensive installation. Its amazing how easy Wii Chipping is now! Once downloaded, HomeBreWare takes full control of the installation and it takes about 15 minutes to do in total. As soon as the installation is done, your Wii will be fully modded and ready to rock.
There arent really any drawbacks to using the HomeBreWare mod over a hardware modchip, they can both do exactly the same thing, however HomeBreware does not suffer from any of the drawbacks hardware Wii Chipping does.
Once done, copied games will load instantly, or you can download a range of software including a media centre and emulators for various consoles! Metal Gear Solid, F-Zero, Wipeout – you can play them all on your Wii!
