Metal Gear Solid Help Please?
So i bough metal gear solid portable ops because I liked metal gear solid 4, i don’t get he controls and I have so many questions, like..
How do I set my team thing?
What am I supposed to do, collect the people?
How do I stay in the cardboard box?
What’s with the controls, how do I aqquire new guns?
There isn’t enough explanation in the game, has anyone else asked these questions?
Is there a help website?
HELP ME
the controls for the game are quite simple and more to MGS3,if you’ve played it already.
1)each team can be filled up to 4 person which you can recruit.and by recruiting,i mean knocking them out and take them back to the truck.they will eventually be brainwashed into joining your squad of 4.you can have a lot of teams(can’t remember how many)
2)collecting or recruiting people is pretty much what you have to do but not necessary to recruit everyone you see.i’d suggest recruiting soldiers that have high status (e.g. S rank in CQC or S rank in Med/Tech…anything below C rank is not worth it)
3)when you have 4 person in your squad including snake,the 3 other members will hide in the cardboard box while Snake is in action until u choose one of the 3 member,then Snake will hide.but you can’t hide in all locations.it’ll be marked with a blue x on the map.if you mean hiding with the
cardboard box as camouflage,then you have to aquire the item.
4)controls are similar with MGS3,press triangle while moving to sneak and square is the action button(to interogate or choke or knock on walls)tap circle to quickly equip or unequip your weapon.you have 4 slot in your inventory so selct what you want to bring wisely.it’s not that complicated really.as for new gun,you can aquire from enemies,found during missions or produced by your Tech Unit when their levels are high enough.which is why i suggest you recruit someone with high stats so your Tech and Med team can produce something more advance.
