How do you play Monopoly?
Ok..Monopoly has a set of rules to play by right? But people improvize and change it to their way and all that. I have always played where if you own a utility (or in the Lord of the Rings version the staffs) and someone lands on it, the person landing on it rerolls one dice and pays the fee that is expected. My son says you use both dice but you don’t reroll the dice. You pay according to the origional roll. How do you all play?
It’s one of the things that’s not in the rules I read both sets of rules. The ones from the origional game and ones from the Lord of the Rings version. We go by what it says on the card “If one staff is owned rent is 4times the amount shown on dice. If both are owned rent is 10 times amount shown. It does not say weather or not to reroll or if you use 1 dice or 2 dice. I guess it’s how you interpret it or how you want to do it.
if you read the deed it will tell you to reroll both dice and pay the owner 4 times as much as you rolled and 10 times if you own both.
