Given how many books and categories are available, I’m rather surprised that the Ring trilogy is not available to Kindle. Given that it still is in print, has had popular movies made from the books, is used in schools etc., it just makes sense it would be in an electronic form.
because the books are still so popular, getting the mechanical rights to reproduce the work digitally is probably very expensive, and while the books are popular, perhaps the target consumer of the kindle doesn’t fall into the target category for the ‘Rings’ books. If that is the case, amazon must not see a good chance of return on their investment.
I suggest emailing their address they reserve for comments and concerns, and request the books. The more requests and the more people that contact them will most likely get them to invest in the mechanical rights, making available the ‘Rings’ series for the kindle.
