Lord Of The Rings Full Screen
Computer now overheating when game playing – never did before. any reason why?
I currently run Windows XP with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 3800+ , 2.01GHz, and 2 BG of RAM. I’ve had a Radeon X1950Pro running in it with a 550W power supply.
I’ve been able to run the Lord of the Rings Online game at full graphics ever since i got the graphics card and power supply a few months ago and didn’t have any problem, but now after about an hour or so of play the screen flashes and i get a warning that my system is overheating.
I’ve taken to opening the box up and putting a household fan to it to keep it from messing up and still allow me to play at full graphics level. Its that or level down the graphics which i shouldn’t have to do with my card. Why would it start acting up now when the fans that the card came with were perfectly fine a week ago?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

if you can get a really good intake fan for your pc, if you have any spaces for one
