I am buying the full lord of the rings audiobook, can anyone tell me how big it is sizewise?

I want to put it onto my ipod for flying to the us, wondered how big it is?
Most ripping programs will encode MP3s at 128 kilobits per second, if you don’t tell them otherwise. This works out at about 1 megabyte per minute. Assuming the CDs are about 70 minutes each, that will result in about 34 gigabytes.
EDIT: Forgot to say – 128k is a good setting for most music, but you can get away with a lower setting for speech – 96k or even 64k. That will reduce the file size proportionately.
